3 Arena Hockey Rink Provides Schools With A Creative Video Tour

A local hockey arena, Skate 3 in Tyngsboro, Massachusetts reached out to us in need of a branded website film. Their goal, to communicate their message effectively with video to inquiring schools looking to have hockey teams and youth programs housed at their facility. Additionally, they wanted to show the local community recent major renovations and how they'd gone green. We shot footage of their solar panel array using our drone and licensed pilot Patrik. The smaller DSLR and slow motion cinema cameras helped us to achieve some interesting low angle shots. We even created a custom "sliding ice pad" where our camera was pushed along the ice to obtain high energy low angle action cinematography to engage viewers.

We were very impressed by Skate 3's staff, the quality of these rinks and their overall passion to offer three state-of-the-art ice surfaces along with great food, a pro shop and super service!

This was the second film we produced for this client as they were quite happy with our initial work. We were given 100% creative freedom to do our HD cinematic magic telling their story. Special thanks to my team, Jim Greene and Patrik Kisuky for filming with me.
